As a Master Thatcher I have completed all the necessary work to become a proud member of the Devon and Cornwall Master Thatcher's Association. This includes a full 5-7 year apprenticeship, plus proving my thatching and toning skills further with other Master Thatchers, as well as completing my own work.

At the end result, before being accepted as a Master Thatcher Member, the work I have carried out and present work is vetted by the Devon and Cornwall master thatchers association. This has to be of High standard. Only being successful of this examination can you become a member, of which I am very proud of being.

The Association is a great way to make sure Devon Thatching and current issues are discussed at local meetings and put to the forefront of everyone's work.

As well as this, the Association is also reassurance to customers that they are in safe hands and that a Quality job will be carried out at all times by one of their members.
